KUCHING: Sarawak Land Development Minister Tan Sri Dr.James Jemut Masing said yesterday he will seek more information from the Malaysian High Commission in Singapore on why male natives under 35 years of age from the state are barred from working in the republic.

According to media reports, Singapore imposed the new ruling as an "administrative punishment" following a series of crimes and fights involving male natives from Sarawak and Sabah in the republic.
